There are 6 shades of blue in the face, I was going to use one more color from Nabbi but it was out of stock, furthermore two blues are very similar :(

Wow very impressive. Did you have some sort of pattern you worked after or simply did free handed?

I used Photoshop to change the background and play around with colors and lighting. Then, I got the pattern and color palette using "Perler" software. The built-in palettes weren't very accurate and there were some wrong details, so I had to change some colors and do some tweaks later by eye.

Ah thats interesting. I'm rather impressed how detailed it got and how well it looks on such a large scale. Might bring my self to try that my self someday when i got enough time free. Anyway great work and would be interesting to see if you make any more =)
